 mericans, by and large, are convinced that terrorists are solely responsible for the deestruction of the World Trade Center towers in New York City on 09/11/2001. This has been the official story repeated countless times by the U.S. government and the media. It has served as the basis of a huge, on-going trend in U.S. federal government efforts to consolidate central control and expand the federal government’s power—specifically with greatly increased police powers—within the country and to launch undeclared wars against foreign national governments that had acted with no explicit beligerence or hostility towards the United States.
Ironically, all this is happening when both the Executive and Legislative branches of the federal government are controlled by a political party that is supposedly ‘conservative’ (i.e., favoring less government, more individual liberty).
Is there more to all this than meets the eye? If there were, could the U.S. federal government be trusted to tell The People?
